We use to say "it's never too late", but in many cases, it will always gonna feel like "it's never too early"... especially when talking about people that we would like to spend much more time together, share feelings, gain more by their creativity, have fun and laugh, 'cause they are simply unique...
George Kant (aka
Tug) was one of these unique kind of guys. I could write a lot about his character, skills, activeness and his great contribution to the local DIY scene...
I had the opportunity to design his (some-kinda) logo (the "puppet boy"), to illustrate his last solo album "Άλλη Μια Μέρα Τοξική / Another Toxic Day" and be interviewed by him, at his own website
www.georgekant.com ... I had the opportunity of meeting him many times, drinking some coffee or beer, talking endlessly about a variety of things (the greek diy phenomena was probably our fav)...
Unfortunately, George had to fight for many months against non hodgkin lymphoma. He had the courage to write about his own struggle in public, standing strong and proud till the last day...
RIP George... You will be missed.
